The new album features recordings from 2011 of various live performances in the ongoing community arts series – “Poet-tree En Motion” held @ The Rotunda by poetess Plum Dragoness (i.e. Gabrielle de Burke) and by musicians The Elements (Larry Connelly, Jay Davidson, Jay Drums, Jon Esposito, Harun Najashi, Elliott Levin, Ali Richardson, & Larry Toft). ‘Plum Dragoness & the Elements’ was Nominated for 2012 Year End Best Emerging Artists Poll by The Deli Magazine Philadelphia. This recording project captures the ‘live element of performance’, where a diverse range of musical genres set the scene for listeners to experience the dynamic ‘in the moment’ dance between live instrumentation, lyrical poetry, sultry vocals and the spoken word.

This studio recording project took place over a few years and the album was completed and fully released in early 2011. Over the course of these years, the band of performance artists in ‘Plum Dragoness & the Elements’ collaborated and re-formed into a poetry and music collective that was then recorded and engineered from 2008 and 2010 by Emmy Award Winning music producer Rodney Whittenberg @ Melody Vision Studios!
