Plum Dragoness/Gabrielle de Burke-
Native to West Philadelphia, Gabrielle is a multi-talented thespian, dancer, poetess and writer involved with performing arts since childhood. In 2000, she graduated from Temple University’s Department of Theater, with an exploratory concentration in Dance, Music and Voice. She is known for her poetic style, vocal performance and choreographic flair throughout Philadelphia and abroad. In 2009, she formed the project “Plum Dragoness & the Elements,” known for its fusion of multi-media, live world music infusions & spoken word/lyrical poetry. In 2011, her debut studio Album “Renaissance of a Poetess” was officially released with compositions & sound engineering by Emmy Awarding Winning Music Producer Rodney Whittenberg. In 2012, a second album of recorded performances was released with the project called “Live @ the Rotunda” that was mixed & engineered by Styx Latte. Gabrielle’s poems have been featured in several publications since her childhood. More info @ www.plumdragoness.com!
